Psychologicznie o nudzie – teorie i modele nudy

Abstrakt

Jakkolwiek zjawisko nudy stanowi często przedmiot refleksji socjologów, to ze względu na fakt, że bezpośrednio związana jest ona z funkcjonowaniem afektywnym i poznawczym człowieka, podejmuje się nad nią badania w obrębie psychologii. Początkowo zjawisko nudy rozpatrywano z perspektywy psychologii pracy (jako czynnik zakłócający jej efektywność) oraz teorii psychoanalitycznej (wyróżniając adaptacyjne i patologiczne formy nudy). Współcześnie badacze podkreślają możliwość wyróżnienia wielu rodzajów nudy. Jako kryteria przyjąć można z jednej strony przyczyny nudy (sytuacyjne versus wewnętrzne), z drugiej zaś – poziom jej dezadaptacyjności. Wskazują oni także na możliwość traktowania osobowej podatności na nudę jako konstruktu ujmowanego w ramach różnic indywidualnych. W artykule autorzy prezentują niektóre najważniejsze psychologiczne teorie i badania nad nudą. Przedstawiają także narzędzia, stosowane obecnie do badania nudy i podatności na nudę.
