A few years after the publication of "State of Affairs" issue 1(18)/2020 about heresy, we would also like to examine the dialectical opposite of heresy - orthodoxy,  considering the various ways it is understood and applied (in both formal and informal senses) in religious, philosophical, cultural, and political discourses, as well as in discourses concerning paradigms in the social sciences and humanities.

Sociology of Concentration Camps [issue in preparation]

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the liberation of German Nazi concentration and extermination camps. Next to numerous anniversary events and accompanying discussions on the memory of the war, this is a good opportunity to look at the interpretations of the concentration camps formulated in the social sciences, especially sociology.

Weberian problems in the social and historical sciences [issue in preparation]

Weber's work covers a wide field of problems in the social and historical sciences. At the same time, Weber is a classic, and a classic work is one in which we can find answers to our own questions. We expect texts devoted to Weberian themes and problems from the point of view of the authors' own research and theoretical interests.
