PhD student at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw. Graduate of Hebrew studies (BA) and sociology (BA and MA) at the College of Inter-Area Individual Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw. Associated with the Research Lab on Deep Mediatisation (Digital Economy Lab, UW), where she is currently working on the project „The Hallow App Universe: Analyzing a Mediatized Religious World through the Lens of Deep Mediatization”. Her research interests center on the sociology of religion, politics and the philosophy of science.

Ewa Balcerzyk holds a master’s degree in Publishing Studies (University of Stirling, Scotland) and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Cultural Studies: Mediterranean Civilisation (Faculty of Artes Liberales, University of Warsaw; College of Inter-Faculty Individual Studies, University of Warsaw), as well as a Post-Graduate Certificate in Editing (Polish Academy of Sciences). She specialises in copy-editing English-language academic publications. At Stan Rzeczy she is involved in coordinating and streamlining the publication process.

A graduate in Polish studies at the University of Warsaw, with a specialisation in editing and publishing. Her master’s thesis concerned spelling and punctuation issues. She is a member of the Orthography and Onomastics Team of the Polish Language Council. At the University of Warsaw, she co-directed the Language Clinic and conducted classes in the culture of the Polish language for first-year students of Polish philology.
